BuildrHub is job management software for Australian trades. Its timesheets log time against a job with a start, finish and break. Each entry carries a cost rate for profit figures and a billable rate for charging the client, both defaulting from the team member. Team members log their own time, and owners or admins approve it. On time and materials jobs, billable hours can be pulled straight into an invoice.
Timesheets
Time is always logged against a job, so once it's approved the labour cost shows up in that job's profit.
Each person has a cost rate and a billable rate. Entries pick them up automatically, and you can override a single entry when it's different.
Team members enter their own hours and can't log time for anyone else. Their entries wait for approval.
Hours stay pending until an owner or admin approves them. Only approved time counts towards labour costs on the dashboard.
On time and materials jobs, the invoice builder pulls in unbilled hours, itemised or grouped by person. Each hour is billed once.
On every plan, tell Skylar "8 hours on the Smith reno yesterday" and the entry is filled in against the right job.
How it works
Start, finish and break against the job. Rates fill in for you.
An owner or admin checks the hours and approves them.
On time and materials jobs, unbilled hours go on the next invoice.
Approved hours show in the job's profit and the dashboard's labour costs.
