Planners
Build the job up section by section, with labour and materials at cost and sell. Turn it into the quote in one click, then watch real costs land against the estimate as the job runs.
BuildrHub is job management software for Australian trades. Its planner is an estimating tool. You break a job into sections and lines, each with a quantity, unit, cost price and sell price, and tag lines with the supplier or team member doing the work. The planner turns into a client quote that shows sell prices only. When the quote is accepted, BuildrHub saves the planner as the budget the job was won on, so later you can compare it with purchase order prices and what the job actually cost.
Planners
Group lines into sections like demo, framing and fit off. Drag them into order. Each section shows its own cost, sell and margin.
Tag a line with the supplier you'll buy from or the team member doing the work, so the estimate doubles as your ordering list.
Turn the planner into the client quote. The client sees sell prices. Your costs and margin stay in the planner.
When the quote is accepted the planner's numbers are saved as the original budget. Change the plan mid job and you still have the figure you priced against.
Raise purchase orders from planner lines. The planner then shows what you planned to pay next to what the orders actually locked in.
Break the job down by section, type, supplier or team member to see which part is carrying the profit and which part is eating it.
How it works
Add sections for each stage of the job and fill them with labour and material lines.
Set cost and sell on each line and check the margin on every section before anyone sees a number.
Turn the planner into the quote and send it. Your costs never leave the planner.
Once accepted, the budget is saved. Order from it and compare real costs as the job runs.
