Expenses and receipts
Upload a receipt and BuildrHub reads it, suggests the category and fills in the details. Costs land on the job, and billable ones go on the next invoice with your markup.
BuildrHub is job management software for Australian trades. Its expenses record supplier bills and receipts against a job or as business overhead. Uploading a receipt fills in the supplier, date and amounts, and suggests the category and whether it has already been paid. Bills can be matched to purchase orders. Each expense has a cost, used for job profit, and on time and materials jobs a billable amount with markup that the invoice builder picks up. Expenses are approved before they count in the dashboard's costs.
Expenses and receipts
Upload a photo or PDF and the supplier, date and amounts are filled in. You check them and save.
BuildrHub suggests the category and whether the receipt shows it's already paid, so most receipts are a quick check rather than data entry.
Put an expense on a job and it counts in that job's profit. Fuel, insurance and tools go to business overhead instead.
Pick the supplier and their open purchase orders come up. Match the bill and it lands on the job the order was for.
On time and materials jobs, mark an expense billable with a markup. The invoice builder picks it up, and it's billed once.
Record which team member paid out of their own pocket and mark it paid once they've been reimbursed.
How it works
Upload the receipt or supplier bill from your phone or computer.
Confirm the details it read and pick the job, or match a purchase order.
Once approved it counts in the job's costs and the dashboard.
On time and materials jobs, billable expenses go on the next invoice.
