BuildrHub is job management software for Australian trades, and it connects to Xero. Once connected, clients and suppliers are matched to Xero contacts or created there, and existing Xero contacts can be imported. Invoices export automatically using the sales accounts, tax rates and payment accounts you map, along with their payments and credit notes. Approved expenses export as supplier bills with the receipt attached, along with their payments. Anything Xero rejects waits in a review list to fix and retry. The jobs, quotes and costing stay in BuildrHub, and the accounting stays in Xero.
Accounting
Clients and suppliers are matched to the Xero contacts you already have, or created if they're new. You can import Xero contacts into BuildrHub too.
Send an invoice in BuildrHub and it exports to Xero with the sales account and tax rate you mapped. No double entry.
Payments, credit notes and refunds recorded in BuildrHub are applied to the matching invoice in Xero, so balances agree in both places.
Approved expenses export as supplier bills with the receipt image on them. Unapproved ones stay out of your books until someone checks them.
Preview how an invoice will land in Xero before switching export on, so you can get the account mapping right first.
If Xero rejects something, it waits in a review list with the reason. Fix it and retry from there.
How it works
Sign in to Xero from Settings and pick the organisation.
Choose the sales, expense and payment accounts and the tax rates to use.
